Ill be honest, this was my least favorite re-creation because there is a lot of stuff that I could have did better. In the original picture, it was taken at a different angle then the one I took which I think I could have done better at, or put more time into the setting up of the picture. Besides the re-creation being a bit funky, I still do enjoy the photo on its own. I was a little stressful setting this picture up because of the setting.I really didnt want to take this in school, but theres not many people who would take their time going somewhere to take one photo outside of school. As difficult as this was, I am glad I took it. |
I think this re-creation is the best one because it looks the most like the original. I chose to use one of my teachers instead of a family member because they don't look similar to the person in the original photo. I appreciate Robert Frank's photography style and editing because it's difficult to make the main subject stand out while reducing the brightness in the background. Overall, I'm pleased with how this re-creation turned out and I learned a lot from the process. |
The recreated photo is one of my favorites because the person is wearing black clothing, which gives the picture a clean look in black and white. Even though setting up the picture was enjoyable, it was challenging since it can be tough to find friends who own cameras. However, the effort was worth it, and I'm happy with the end result. Recreating old photographs is a way to pay homage to the past while putting my own spin on things. It's a fun and creative hobby that allows me to capture moments in time and preserve them in a unique way. |
